Erin McAuliffe is an experienced litigator with a primary focus on real estate litigation. Prior to joining GDL, Erin served as a litigation associate at two other mid-sized law firms gaining considerable experience representing clients in civil litigation matters involving business disputes, commercial collections, real estate disputes, title insurance defense, and commercial and residential landlord-tenant disputes. Erin also previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Robert A. Greenberg in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland.
Erin was awarded a First Lap Award and an Extra Mile Award for her pro bono work while in law school and she has continued her pro bono activities. Notably, Erin accepted an appointment by the United States District Court for the District of Maryland to serve as pro bono counsel in a civil action which was then satisfactorily resolved for the client.
Erin is a member of the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland, serving as Community Service Co-Chair for the Montgomery County Chapter and as a member of the Judicial Selections Committee.
Outside of the office, Erin enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two mini goldendoodles. Erin also enjoys traveling and hiking. During college, Erin had the opportunity to join her school’s Varsity Sailing Team and enjoyed the memorable experience of competing at the Sperry Top-Sider Women’s Semifinals in Austin, Texas.
