Biography:  Born in Trenton, Michigan, Mr. Sadowski graduated from George Washington University in 1989 and received his law degree from The Columbus School of Law of the Catholic University of America in 1992, where he was the Recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Contracts and was a Member and Editorial Assistant on The Catholic University Law Review from 1990 to 1992.

 

Mr. Sadowski is admitted to the Bar of Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the U.S. District Court and the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

 

Mr. Sadowski served as Law Clerk for the Honorable Brook Hedge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia from 1992 to 1994. Mr. Sadowski is a Member of the Virginia State Bar and the Maryland State Bar Associations. Mr. Sadowski has also been a member of the Judicial Conference of the District of Columbia (1995-97 and 1999-2001, 2003 and 2005).

 

Mr. Sadowski has extensive experience in the area of commercial litigation, with an emphasis on commercial landlord and tenant matters, including counseling and advising clients on how to structure leases, and other written agreements involving commercial real estate and proposed actions in the areas of property management and real estate brokerage so as to avoid litigation.  His practice also includes the collection of delinquent accounts and representation of creditors in bankruptcy matters.

 

Mr. Sadowski is an avid soccer player and fan.  He is a certified USSF referee (Grade 6), and is the founder and former commissioner of the Capital Coed Soccer League, a 36 team adult coed soccer league.  Mr. Sadowski is also the player/manager of the Mall Rats, FC coed soccer team, which won the 1999 and 2003 national championship of the United States Amateur Soccer Association’s Coed Cup. Mr. Sadowski is also the President of Metropolitan D.C.– Virginia Soccer Association, Inc., which is the local governing body for adult amateur soccer in D.C. and Virginia.
