Biography:  Born in New York City, New York, Mr. Brown graduated from Boston College in 1983 and received his law degree from George Washington University in 1987 where he was member of the George Washington Law Review.

 

Mr. Brown’s practice areas include real estate development, land use, planning, zoning, historic preservation, municipal affairs and real estate tax assessment appeals.

 

Mr. Brown is admitted to the Bar of the District of Columbia and Maryland.

 

He is also a Member of the District of Columbia Building Industry Association and Maryland State Bar Association.  Mr. Brown is a Member of the D.C. Bar Association and is a Member of its Section on Real Estate, Housing and Land Use and of its Section on District of Columbia Affairs.

 

Mr. Brown served as an officer with the Judge Advocate General Corps of the

U.S. Army Reserve from 1988 to 2000.
