The firm’s representation in the prosecution of real property tax assessment appeals is integral to the firm’s real estate practice in the District of Columbia. 

 

As part of this practice area, our attorneys assist clients in the analysis of the advisability of assessment appeals and file and prosecute those appeals at all levels, including before the Office of Tax and Revenue, the Board of Real Property Assessments and Appeals, and the D.C. Superior Court. 

 

Attorneys who practice in this area work closely with property managers, appraisers, consultants (environmental, engineering, architectural, etc.) and owners of land and buildings.  Clients for whom the Firm provides services in this area primarily include commercial management companies and property owners (including corporate, partnership and other   institutional owners).
