Bill Casano has over 30 years of experience in broad based commercial litigation, real estate development, employment law, and corporate law. He has successfully litigated cases at all levels of the local and federal courts in the District of Columbia and Maryland involving such diverse issues as construction claims, housing discrimination, breach of contract (including breach of commercial leases), wrongful employment termination, insurance coverage, interpretation and enforcement of corporate governance documents, and intellectual property. Mr. Casano also represents real estate developers with respect to creating and enforcing community documents and he represents employers with respect to a wide range of workplace issues.

Representative Matters
Mr. Casano successfully prosecuted a case to enforce homeowner association documents against a rogue board of directors; obtained judgment against a group of dissident members of a membership corporation; and successfully defended appeal thereby preserving a medical malpractice judgment of approximately $1,000,000. Mr. Casano also successfully defended multiple landlords against claims of housing discrimination; successfully defended apartment building owner on claims of cost overruns brought by a general contractor; and created community documents for numerous neighborhoods in Maryland development containing over 9,000 acres.
