Kate Olson advises and represents clients with matters involving land use, zoning, planned unit developments, historic preservation, and environmental law. She represents clients before the D.C. Zoning Commission, the Board of Zoning Adjustment, the Historic Preservation Review Board, the Mayor's Agent for Historic Preservation, the Commission of Fine Arts and other District and federal agencies involved in land use matters.

Noteworthy
In February, 2010 Ms. Olson was elected to the Board of Directors of the D.C. Preservation League and in July, 2010 Ms. Olson was elected Secretary of the Board. In the spring of 2008 Ms. Olson co-authored an article on “Green Hospitality”.
