Debra Leege represents developers and landlords in commercial and residential real estate litigation in both the District of Columbia and Maryland. Ms. Leege’s practice is focused on contract disputes, landlord-tenant issues, and rent control. Ms. Leege regularly represents clients at motions hearing, trials, and during settlement negotiations. She is responsible for all aspects of the litigation process, including fact investigation, development of case strategy, and preparation of legal filings. Ms. Leege has successfully litigated numerous administrative and civil cases, including before the D.C. Court of Appeals.
Ms. Leege has successfully completed the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s Trial Skills and Deposition Skills training. While a law student, Ms. Leege co-authored, "Sara Cotton, et al., Model Assisted Reproductive Technology Act," The Journal of Gender, Race & Justice (Volume 9, 2005).
